Greetings from our home deep in the ~~piney~~ scorched woods of Bastrop, Texas. We built our retirement home on 3 heavily wooded acres on a winding country lane in Bastrop County in 1996. On September 4, 2011, 15 years later, our home was destroyed by a wildfire that burned 34,000 acres of pine forest and destroyed 1691 homes. We live in an apartment for now, but hope to rebuild in 2012.

Julie & Daryl Beard!

Julie became a part of our family 4 weeks after birth in May, 1974. She has brought much joy to our lives. Daryl Beard joined our team as the "Number 1 son-in-law" on May 26, 2007. They reside in Austin. Click their picture to view their wedding album.
